Mewannarose is 14 years old, and he retired from the track at 6 years of age after 34 starts and winning $465,000. He was only supposed to be with TEF for about six months for some letdown and rehabilitation due to an ankle injury. Someone from his past had been willing to let him retire on their farm, but when the time came, they stopped communicating. That was seven YEARS ago.

Since then, Mo has been living at one of the TEF farms in Virginia. However, his presence is now being requested in Oklahoma because one of his fellow equines has been quite depressed and needs a new buddy. With prices continuing to rise in Virginia, it makes sense for him to make the move, Mo just needs help getting there… OK is a long way from VA, after all.

The haul is estimated at around $1700 based on TEF's last transport from same location. Do you think Santa has some pull with a good transport company?
